Cradley Church of England Primary School Believe, belong, be happy; every child, every chance, every day

Safeguarding

At Cradley CE Primary School, our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child is at the heart of our vision: ‘Believe, belong, be happy; every child, every chance, every day’. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Our aim is to ensure that all children are safe and able to thrive in school and to support any child who is at risk from harm. Our school values support the development of a culture that safeguards and promotes the welfare of all our children.

Our safeguarding policies and procedures in place to support our commitment to safeguarding. This includes robust safer recruitment procedures.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with parents/ carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.

We actively support the Government’s Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism
