Record Keeping

At Cradley, we use a secure online system called CPOMS to help us record, monitor, and respond to any concerns about pupils’ wellbeing and safety.

CPOMS allows staff to log important information about a child quickly and accurately, including safeguarding concerns, pastoral support, and significant events. This means that no worries are overlooked and that the right people can act promptly to provide help and care when it is needed.

All information recorded on CPOMS is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is only accessed by trained staff who have a professional responsibility for keeping children safe. The system helps us build a clear picture over time, so we can spot patterns, offer early support, and work effectively with families and other professionals where appropriate.

By using CPOMS, we are strengthening our commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing. It helps us ensure that every child feels listened to, supported, and protected—so they can believe in themselves, feel they belong, and be happy in school.

Our careful record keeping reflects our promise to put children first, every day.
