Pupil Premium Strategy

Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Department for Education to help schools ensure that all children, regardless of background, have the best possible chance to succeed. It is given to schools for pupils who are eligible for free school meals, have been eligible in the past, are in care, or have been adopted from care.

At our school, Pupil Premium funding is used carefully and thoughtfully to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and personal development. This may include extra support in class, small group teaching, targeted interventions, emotional wellbeing support, help with school trips and activities, access to enrichment opportunities, and resources to support learning at home. Everything we do with this funding is guided by our commitment to helping every child believe in themselves, belong in our community, and be happy in their learning.

Registering for Pupil Premium, if you are eligible, brings real benefits to your child and the wider school community. It does not affect any other benefits and is completely confidential. By registering, you help us access vital funding that can provide additional opportunities, care, and support for your child. Even if your child currently receives universal free meals, registering still makes a difference. Together, we can ensure every child has every chance, every day.
