Monday 6th July
In preparation for the Paralympics, we will be welcoming specialist coach Andy Craddock to deliver a wheelchair basketball workshop for our children. Using specially designed mini-wheelchairs, our children from Year 1 to Year 6 will have the exciting opportunity to experience wheelchair basketball firsthand. This engaging session will help develop teamwork, coordination, and understanding of inclusive sport, while giving pupils a fun and memorable insight into Paralympic sport.
On Monday afternoon, we will be hosting a viewing of the England vs Mexico game for the children. We understand that some children may already know the final score before arriving at school on Monday. However, due to the game’s scheduled kick-off time, we still want to give them the opportunity to enjoy watching the match together and experience the excitement as a group.
We hope this will be a fun and enjoyable event for everyone.
Tuesday 7th July
Experience Peter workshops will be taking place at St Peter’s Church, led by Mother Victoria. The children will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of engaging workshops, exploring different activities.
Year 2 will also be visiting Selly Manor for their school trip, expanding their knowledge of the Great Fire of London.
Thursday 9th July
Whole School - Project Touchline will be working with us to help teach our school values and how these can be lived out through sport.
They will also lead a prayer group for students, providing a safe and welcoming space where they can reflect, pray, and speak to God.
Year 6 will also be taking part in their RHSE Day.
Friday 10th July
Year 6 will be visiting Woodlands for their school trip, marking their final trip with Cradley before they head off on their exciting new adventures at high school.
We hope this special day will create lasting memories as they celebrate the end of their primary school journey together.
